first time I heard this it was nearly boomeranged
into the nearest bin, I was convinced somebody had
won the lottery and took their club band into a
half decent studio and done the deed! Well slap
my fucking wrists with a fucking steamroller ‘cos
I’m so glad I gave it another go on the rebound.

By Animals have this ability to coax you into
their rhythm, you may not like it at first but
the blend of pop and soul that’s delivered
straight from the heart takes me back to sunnier
days and the simpler ways of giving the customer
what they want. I’m reminded of mid-career
10CC after ‘Rubber Bullets’ and before
that ‘..I don’t like cricket’
shite! This band have whacked on the production,
there must be every instrument on earth in there
somewhere and I like it, oh yes I do!
