'Raised
by Animals' are a four-piece Barnsley band who have
been described as playing intense eclectic rock
melodic music. The band have been together since
2001 and have already found endorsements from Reef's
Kenwyn House and Muse's Matt Bellamy. The band have
been compared with the likes of Soulwax, Ether,
Spacehog, Jellyfish and Captain Beefheart, but after
listening to the e.p it's hard to pin point one
band to compare them to.
'Raised
by Animals' have blended their influences to produce
a sound that is unique to them and is hard to find
a similar band out there. With melodic instrumental
use and lyrics that blend harmoniously with the
vocals it's easy to see why this band is building
up such a reputation and got to support Wishbone
Ash.
Their
music is a blend of sweet melodies that produce
an intoxicating atmosphere that is unique to other
bands around at the moment. Their sound has been
described as 'encompassing soaring grooves and beautiful
melodies, bawdy rockers and delicate sentiment',
and it's easy to see why.
'Raised
by Animals' have produced an outstanding e.p that
obviously sticks to the style they love to play.
This is one band who don't care about what's in
or not in the music industry cause they are playing
the style they love which is what makes them so
